  • Have fun, relax, and enjoy yourself!

8. WHY THE HEAT?

The heat is your friend! It improves muscle elasticity, allowing you to stretch your muscles more effectively. Joint mobility is also improved as the heat makes synovial fluid in the joint less viscous so that it can move around and lubricate your joints more effectively. The heat also helps to improve your circulation, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the tissues of the body and removing metabolic wastes (aka toxins). Your skin is the largest system in the body and it gets a great workout as you sweat all over. You will be warm and comfortable when lying on the floor for your final savasanah, so you will be able to relax without feeling cold.

9. WHAT IF I’M NOT FLEXIBLE?

Saying that you’re not flexible enough to do yoga is like saying that you’re too hungry to eat, or too dirty to take a bath! So, no excuses, come in and you will improve your flexibility. Just be patient with yourself and stay within your pain free range of motion.
