DISCOVER THE BENEFITS OF RECOVERY

After training or competition, the body is recovering naturally. At Infinity Recovery, that process is enhanced through different recovery protocols that our Recovery Coaches will lead you through. Our clients report physical and mental benefits. Visit us and discover for yourself!

1. Cold Tub

Immerse yourself in water chilled to between 4.5-7 degrees to reduce inflammation and pain, improve your immune system, improve your focus, boost your mood, and increase your resilience.

2. Hot Tub

Immerse yourself in water heated to 40 degrees to stimulate blood flow and bring nutrients to repairing muscles.

3. Contrast Therapy

Move back and forth between both the hot and cold tub up to 5 times. Each immersion should last 1-2 minutes. This protocol manipulates blood flow to flush the muscle tissues. In the cold tub the blood vessels narrow (vasoconstriction) and widen in the hot tub (vasodilation).

4. Sauna

Uses Infrared to heat the body from the outside in. Improve your circulation, stimulating blood flow to again bring nutrients to the muscle fibres, improve your sleep and metabolism, and reduce stress and depression

5. Myofascial Station

Massage guns and foam rollers are used to gently massage the soft tissues. The fascia is like an envelope around the muscles, and it can become tight. These tools loosen up the fascia. Improve your circulation, reduce stiffness, reduce DOMS, and break down adhesions.

6. Compression Boots

Legs are encased in a form of leggings that inflate along a preset sequence from the foot up to the hip and is then repeated. Improves circulation and stimulates the lymph system, which removes the waste products from the muscles, but does not have a pulse like the blood system. Reduces inflammation, aids tissue repair and reduces DOMS.
